Please bring socks - these do not need to be proper Pilates socks. If you do forget socks, we always have some available for you to use. Bring a water bottle - you can fill it up in the studio kitchen if needed. You do not need to bring a mat we have mats at the studio. If you don’t like our mats, you are welcome to bring your own the next class.

HOW DO I GET TO THE SOUL MOVEMENT STUDIO?

Soul Studio is located 10 minutes out of Taupo town at 116 Link Road, Wairakei.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT THE FIRST CLASS?

At your first class Anna will give you a pre-screening form to fill in, so she is aware of any injuries etc. When everyone arrives we'll do a warm up on the mat together of very basic yoga and pilates movements. Then we break into 2 groups - 3 people will go on reformers and 3 on the mats where we do our first round of exercises. We do 3 rounds and finish with a relaxing deep stretch on the mat. You can ask questions at any point. The key messages of every class are to listen to your body and make the class work for you.
